AC 427 Cobra

I'm preparing myself to run the 1000 miles race, and I decided that I'd go all-out and buy an AC 427 Cobra for the race. It wasn't that much work (well, it was a lot of B-Speccing, but that's neither here nor there) to buy one, but tuning it is a whole nother thing.

This car is SO POWERFUL that it can barely be controlled on the road. It jumps, it skips, it refuses to stop even if you ask politely. In short... this car is a monster.

It's kind of fun, though, to try to bring it under control.

Great, a GT4 Blog. Cool idea. What made me comment in the first place is that I have done just what you did: get a Cobra for the 1000 miles of Le mans. The Shelby was mine. But only to find it touching it's rev limiter on the straight constantly. I don't like to put in a different gearbox because of that howling noise you get with it (I just love that deep V8 rumble too much ;-) so that Cobra topped at about 145 mph. Then I tried the AC Cobra which seems to have a lot longer gears and reaches 170 easily without braking a sweat. I allways was under the impression that an Shelby was the faster so ... confusing stuff all together.

I won't take up all your comment space ;-) Keep it up, it's a nice read buddy. Thanks.
